The process of painting was spontaneous, unpredictable, happy, and fun. It was done before I took proper oil painting classes and before I knew what I was doing... At that time, painting with oil felt somewhat uncomfortable, intimidating, and aimless. However, when I enter the state of "flow," it feels like I've been channeled to deliver a message, and painting becomes a meditation. The feeling is incredibly vulnerable, scared, and yet, so very liberated.
