With a degree in Nutrition & Food Science and a master’s degree in Italian Gastronomy & Tourism. For most of my life, food and cooking have been my passion and the way I express love, until I discovered oil painting! Colors have become the new medium for expressing my emotions and my perception of the world. I was born in Taipei, Taiwan, and have been fortunate to spend time living and studying in Malawi, Eswatini (also known as Swaziland), Texas, and Piemonte before finding love, and a home on the island of Oahu. Mr. V was my favorite art teacher in high school at Waterford Kamhlaba (UWCSA). He was a delightful human being, a great artist, and an exceptional teacher! Mr. V introduced the fun of art to my life; however, it took a while to find the courage and time to start taking painting lessons. For me, it was in the summer of 2023. I was introduced to the amazing Ms. Christy Fujii, a beautiful and very talented artist, who taught me the magic of color mixing and exceptional palette knife painting skills, and who has also become a very dear friend. I guess it’s never too late to learn something new, find a new hobby, and even launch a new business! Right? YOLO! I am incredibly thankful to be where I am, thanks to my loving husband, Greg, and the opportunity to do what I love.
